Recherche : Un test de salive pour dépister des cancers
Deux universités, japonaise et américaine, ont développé une technologie qui permet de dépister différents cancers à partir d'un simple test de salive, ont annoncé mardi des chercheurs.
L'université Keio de Tokyo et l'université de Californie basée à Los Angeles affirment pouvoir ainsi détecter à leur stade initial des cancers du pancréas, du sein et de la sphère buccale. Patch à insuline
Un patch à insuline pour les personnes atteintes du diabète de type 2 a été mis au point par une société médicale suisse, ce qui soulage considérablement les malades obligés jusqu'alors d'avoir recours aux injections, un usage peu pratique et incommodant.

100 greffes rénales réalisées au CNMS
Plus de 100 transplantations rénales ont été pratiquées au sein de l'établissement hospitalier spécialisé (EHS), CNMS, depuis le lancement, à la fin 2006, du programme national de transplantation d'organes.

Maladies rhumatismales sous-diagnostiquées : Les patients finissent handicapés
Agée de neuf ans, S.L. souffre d'une maladie rhumatismale qui, jusque-là touchait particulièrement les adultes.
